Howdy! I’m Jen, a creative professional fueled by artistic flair, technical curiosity, and a passion for usability. Raised in a household where art and engineering coexisted, I discovered my creative drive at an early age, which was only fueled that much more when my dad brought home several Dell computers. I was quickly exposed to the world of web design when it was still in its infancy. I was captivated, spending countless hours exploring the digital realm. Although I couldn't foresee the future, it was evident that my interest in design was here to stay.

I discovered Adobe products in high school, and suddenly, I had a powerful digital tool at my fingertips, allowing me to bring artistic visions to life. By junior year, I was enrolled in graphic design classes, and when it came time to apply for colleges, pursuing graphic design seemed like the natural choice—a perfect blend of art and business.

Earning my Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from SDSU marked the beginning of a relentless pursuit of creativity. Alongside my design career, a side hustle took center stage when I went viral on TikTok with a passion project called Beauluster—an integration of crafts, branding, product design, and business development. The success taught me valuable lessons in adapting business goals to meet user needs.

Despite the success, my heart remained drawn towards usable design. This led me back to education, enrolling in a UX bootcamp at CareerFoundry. The journey through UX design represents the epicenter of my interests and developed skills.
